What to expect

Renuvion® is a revolutionary skin tightening treatment that will help your skin look and feel more youthful. With minimal scarring and rapid recovery, it’s a keyhole procedure that effectively tightens the skin without skin removal surgery.

During the procedure, the wand is inserted just under the skin and delivers a unique combination of radiofrequency energy and helium plasma directly to the collagen-rich tissue that’s a key source of loose skin. While we can’t exactly stop the aging process, Renuvion® treats the collagen fibers under the skin, contracting them and triggering the collagen rebuilding process.

It can be used on its own to tighten skin or even combined with body contouring treatments, like lipo.

Results are dramatic and may start to be seen in as little as days or weeks and will continue to improve throughout the healing process.

Start-to-finish, the whole procedure usually takes about an hour. But this depends on the extent of the treatment.

A small area will be treated under local anesthetic alone. However, if combined with other procedures, general anesthetic may be required. Our surgeon will talk you through the entire procedure during your consultation.

Depending on the extent of the treatment and your daily routines, you will usually be able to resume your normal activities after two to ten days and return to gentle exercise after three weeks. However, as with all procedures, individual results may vary. Your surgeon will advise.
